When we hear the word “counseling,” we often think about something that takes place in an office, conducted by someone with special degrees and credentials. But if we believe what the Bible says about the sufficiency of Scripture to equip us (1 Timothy 3:16-17), the competence of believers to instruct and counsel one another (Romans 15:14), and the priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:5-9), then we will recognize that “counseling” or "admonishing" each other is a normal part of the discipleship process and an important skill for all maturing believers to develop on some level. In this class, we will cover some of the basics of applying biblical principles to common problems faced in our society as we grow in our ability to rightly handle the word of truth (1 Timothy 2:15).

Fall Discipleship Class 06: Trick or Treat- Is Spiritual Warfare Real or a Game?

What is spiritual warfare? What is our part in it? In this class we will learn about the spiritual realm as we dig into God’s Word together in this interactive class. Everything rises and falls on leadership whether it is in business, the home, the church, or your individual life. The hardest person to lead is yourself and becoming a better leader can change how you live and interact with everyone no matter the setting. Listen and learn biblical leadership principles applied to a variety of roles in your life.

This class reviews change theory, self-leadership principles, group leadership guidelines, transformational vs. transactional leadership, and much much more.
